"I stayed at this cabin over the 4th of July with my spouse and our 11 year old golden retriever. We loved the cabin! It was equipped with anything we could have needed, even soaps in the bathroom. We loved how close the cabin is to the water. All you have to do is walk down a staircase and you have access to a public beach and docks. The water is super clear and the lake is beautiful. There is a fire ring in the back yard and a concrete pad with some chairs for relaxing. Over all we enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Very nice and clean and great hosts. The campground is very nice and all of the other travelers that we met were very kind. Our dog loved hanging out in the water and on the docks! We will be back again! Thank you for the wonderful vacation! "

"Great place to stay. Nice and quiet area. There was an issue with the water softener but was addressed quickly. Owner was very respondent. Beautiful place! We rented a boat from a near by resort, Lost Acres Resort. They were absolutely great. Along with Norway Beach Resort. We rented a boat from both places! We will definitely stay again! "

"This was a dad and daughter fishing trip so we were looking for a place on a good fishing lake. This property delivered on our expectations. The cabin was cozy but had everything we needed. "We had a great 4 day stay. The house was well equipped. The beds were really comfy. Very quiet location! We really enjoyed the bench at the end of the pier. We saw fish, turtles, heron, ducks with their goslings and even a pair of osprey!!Now I want to comment on some things I read in other reviews. The "road" to get to the house is a single tract road. Go slow! We never met anyone on the road so it really wasn't an issue. The trip down to the lake is not that steep (as other reviews had stated). Yes, the backyard slopes down to the lake but there are about 20 stairs and then the short distance up the hill. I'm an out of shape 60 person who did the hill just fine.We went to lake Bemidji State Park. We combined the old log trail with the big walk. Wonderful morning! Also ate at Tutto Benne and Green Mill. Both were excellent!!! We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!!"
