"This hotel is so unique and beautiful! Front desk was warm and kind. The lighting is cozy. The room was fantastic! The bathroom with tub / shower was perfect. The onsen was so relaxing! "I have been a regular guest at this hotel due to its proximity to a family member in long term care. Today I was informed that the pet policy has changed from a reasonable nightly fee to a flat fee for 1-4 nights. This means a 2 night stay has double the per fee from before. I was also informed that a hot breakfast was no longer being served, just continental. These changes mean it now make more sense for me to move to a hotel with friendlier policies on my subsequent trips. The value for me has been significantly diminished. This is unfortunate, because up till now I had been quite pleased with this hotel."
