Overall it is a cool place to stay, but it would be a lot nicer if it was maintained. The windows were cracked and thin, mouldy. The bath tub jets do not work - nor the power in the bathroom. The carpet is so old and worn out that it’s lifted up leaving a trip hazard in the room. It was also quite dusty. A little TLC and it would be worth the price.

Well located great price continental breakfast over Easter was great to have. Room great apart from raw bleach in toilet brush holder was overpowering in the room. Realised and got rid of it and then no complaints. Would definitely stay again

Even though the building is older in years the staff do their best to keep it looking clean and tidy, my room was clean, tidy quiet. The receptionist was lovely and friendly, very helpful.

Lovely,quirky ,historic hotel.

The hotel is a fabulous historic building so as long as you accept this then you will enjoy your stay. Free parking, a lovely welcome and very friendly staff. Room was clean, bathroom had towels, soap,shampoo etc. Bed was a bit saggy and road noise kept me awake for a while, old sash windows do not seal completely. Would definitely stay again

Dont judge the book by the cover! At first sight, the outside looked a bit ify, but they have done a great job of the inside. Looked fresh, and was impressed with with it. Will be staying here again in future.

I booked the Leviathan Hotel because of its historic value and we enjoyed looking around the hotel. We enjoyed eating in the hotel, and it was very close to the railroad station which we walked around in the evening.

Great location. Older (aka Heritage) place but incredibly everything still seemed to work just fine. For central city the price was great and with parking right across the road from the front door it was perfect.
