"Handy to town. Good cooked breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had luggage storage which was good as carpark is a couple blocks away ... they validate parking though. Can park out front with hazard lights on to unload and check-in though"

"Loved our stay here! The outside gym, to the giant tub, homemade to order breakfast, and all the beaches around. Would highly recommend staying at this location."
The Garrandarragh Inn

"The Inn is good value for the money . Yes it’s showing signs of age but it’s a super quick and easy drive into Waterford through lovely countryside . Staff all very polite friendly and helpful . The safe didn’t work , no microwave, no hairdryer . Was happy to have a kettle for tea and cups with saucers . The room was bright with very comfy beds and good sized bathroom with soaps and shampoo . . It’s also a pub but our room was well away and no noise . Could do with abit of tidying up outside as their cigarette butt containers were overflowing . Food was good in the pub ."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Viking Hotel in Waterford. The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 👍"

"Great location. Nice staff and good food. On the water. Strand is small. Parking is limited. Older property without elevators. Some rooms have lots of stairs to navigate. Apple Maps took us to a wrong location but Google Maps worked"
Majestic Hotel

"The front desk ladies are excellent the hotel rooms are nice. The staircase would need cleaning the carpet looks dirty the cleaning crew not very friendly it is very hard to get around when they bring the clean towels. The breakfast is good and the crew is very nice there also."
Waterford Castle

"The experience of taking a ferry onto the island was pretty cool! The estate was vey nice and very authentic. The Staff was very helpful. We were traveling around Ireland in August and this was the warmest day we had experienced but not hot like SC in the States. The only thing that there was no AC in the rooms but it was not too bad. The food was very good. The golf course was fun and had some pretty holes to take pics . We had a great time at this hotel."
Dunmore East Glamping Cabins

"We had a fantastic stay at the cabins! Cabin is a decent size with basic facilities, but that's all we needed! There is a kettle, microwave, tableware and no toiletries, but that wasn't a problem as we had our own. Despite being in a camping site is a lovely and quiet area, with a tennis court and a small playground for kids. Ww will definitely be back at some stage as we all loved thos little gem! 💖"
