"Perfect room for what we needed."

"Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. We were assigned room 1201. After check-in, we went to the tiki bar. Food was very good. I had the smash burger and my boyfriend had the fried boneless chicken thighs - Nashville Hot. The room was clean but there had been prior water damage. Unfortunately, the King bed was a mattress on a metal frame. The mattress was well worn and our backs let us know the morning of checkout. The metal frame made lots of noise whenever you turn over or get in or out of bed. The A/C worked well but was very noisy. After the first night, we left the fan on the continuous setting which helped with the noise. The rooms have beautiful plantation shutter s but no darkening curtains. We brought 2 beach towels from home and we used those to block out the light after waking up way to early the first morning. Our room was at the end of the building closest to the highway and the road noise from semi trucks was noisy. The property is well maintained but we didnt get the rest and relaxation we were looking for. The hot tub had teenagers in it and the temperature was probably in the upper 90's so we didn't get to enjoy it."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. breakfast was good with many food choices. Nice motel for the night. "

"The room was clean and comfortable, which is the top priority. The coffee machine in the lobby was very convenient and breakfast was great. I liked that there were egg white veggie omelets in addition to regular scrambled eggs. The variety of yogurt and bread/bagels/English muffins to toast was nice too (although the toasting conveyer took at least 3 times to get brown). All the staff were very nice and we would stay here again."

"Checked into room, I requested a ground floor room and was denied one. once into the room, had 2 double beds with 1 pillow on each bed. there were no blankets on the beds, only sheets. there were stains all over the sheets on both beds. There was 2 towels in the room and no hand towel, no wash cloths and no bath mat. we also discovered no toilet paper in the bathroom. the phone in the room did not work either. there were no trash cans in the room. we went down to the front desk to request these items and the lady brought up a set of towels and wash cloths and no extra pillows. there were men all out in the parking lot at all times of the day and night stumbling over and acting very suspicious. we could not even park in front of our room as there was no parking on that side of the building. I do not recommend staying at this hotel PERIOD!!! as a woman with children I was worried to death to even go to sleep to say the least."
