"It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again "

"We stayed for 2 nights. The photos dont do ths property justice, its absolutely beautiful. Rooms are big and comfy and Gordon has thought of everything. Weather was terrible so we spent time in the comfy kitchen and lounge watching the sea. Very peaceful but so close to everythimg you could need, shops, take aways etc We will definitely be back, the sooner the better. Shame Gordon cant guarantee the weather but he can guarantee you a lovely stay"

"I'm a single dad with two young boys. Our rental car blew a tire on a dangerous road a half an hour away from our stay. My international phone service wasn't connecting to the roadside assistance and we were stranded. I didn't know who else to call but our VRBO host. They took very good care of us. They got a taxi range for us and talk to my car rental company. Without their help it would have been a long long night. Very friendly. The place itself is cozy and reasonably close to the airport. "Beautiful property, lovely views from the windows and at night all the lights from the other side of the water is so nice. There is a woodland walk just at the top of the road, most places are dog friendly, and to see the deer in the garden from the window was so nice. "

"Previous reviews of this property are very accurate. The lack of a working shower is a setback for this rental. Other properties have the same shower mechanism, but this one does not work to combine cold and hot water properly and should be replaced. The kitchen also did not have any decent pans to make breakfast. They are all scratched. No one will pack a cast iron pan. So, a small investment in the place will go a long way here. Cleanliness was good but could be improved overall. Not bad, just...

"The best helpful communications with the unit owner! She readily answered my call and gave great directions upon request. We only needed one night's stay and she was very accommodating. Nice, specious unit, very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Great washer and dryer! Internet and TV were outstanding. Great kitchen for preparing meals. Great location for activities and parking at unit. I'd recommend staying there."

"Just as I had hoped"

"As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been."
