The owners were friendly and very accommodating - providing recommendations for dinner and things to do. "The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"Bonita casa rural con vistas a la campiña y al mar. A unos 10 mins en coche de Mutriku, tiene un sendero muy agradable que baja hasta el pueblo (unos 25 mins a pie). Nos alojamos en falta de un apartamento funcional bien equipado en general y con las camas cada mañana hechas como si fuera una habitación de hotel. Advertimos algunas carencias en cuanto a menaje -falta de cafetera, exprimidor, vasos- que parcialmente fueron resueltas. Propietario muy agradable. Hay mosquitos en la zona, pero...

"After three weeks traveling around Spain we wanted to end our trip in a quiet, more “roomier” place than a hotel room. ABBA Suites was perfect! A well-equipped kitchen for the 3 days that we were there, a block away from a grocery store and a 15-minute walk to the Guggenheim Museum. The Old Town was about 20-minute walk but an enjoyable one dive a good part of it was walking along the riverside. "
