The staff was super helpful and beyond friendly. they were very attentive to our family's needs. The hotel is so pretty. We loved it. The beds were comfy, the coffee shop was yummy, it's located right in the center of the plaza. It's safe to walk and shop and eat. We needed an early taxi and they were great about having there on time. We loved it.

The best is the staff, location is very convenient, next to the cathedral. At night there is live music played on the street in front of the hotel. I really recommend this place if you go to Durango.

Hostal de la Monja is in the middle of the downtown, across the Cathedral; has a parking space behind the hotel; everything is nearby. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast included doesn’t have many options but is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay, could not be happier

Perfectly located, incredibly efficient and professional staff. The hotel decor and architecture are stunning. We very much enjoyed our stay and we strongly recommend staying at La Monja. We also stayed at Best western which was subpar and in a horrible location. We ate at the hotel gobernador, horrible service plus we got sick!

I enjoyed the location. The area is surrounded by great dining options as well as bars. The area felt safe and walkable. The least enjoyable part of the stay was the hotel breakfast. We tried it once and that was enough for us.

Everyone in the staff was very kind and helpful. The property was very clean. You’re right in the middle of the city center so you’ve got museums, attractions, restaurants, and stores nearby all at walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.
