Upstairs, the loft suite offers a peaceful escape, while the balcony provides fresh air and a great spot to enjoy morning coffee or watch the kids splash in the sparkling pool below.

Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Ferringway DO NOT allow pets.

AMENITIES: The Ferringway Townhomes offers a shared hot tub and heated swimming pool for guest use. The pool deck has plenty of room for lounging, as well as multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space without having to leave the grounds.  There is easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. THE POOL IS OPEN APPX MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND.

LOCATION: Ferringway is just a 5-minuts drive to historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment.   Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes you to Purgatory Ski Resort and the high San Juan Mountains.  Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West.  Hillcrest Golf Club is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango townhome at Ferringway is a great place to stay!

We had 3 adults and two teens for our 6 day stay. This condo was PERFECT for our family and as our Durango home base for the Silverton/Ouray/Mesa Verde area excursions. The condo was roomy and had every amenity needed. The owners were wonderful sending information directions. Morning coffee on the balcony was so relaxing in the cool Colorado scenery. Would definitely recommend for family or two couples.

We didn't go in the pool. Hot tub was dirty. We had wet sheets on check in. The housekeeping manager was very friendly and efficient. Luckily I turned the bed down early or we would have had to check into another place to sleep. TV was hard to manage without directions. Our room was dusty and the mattress on the main floor was horrible. NEEDS REPLACED. The kitchen was well stocked but all the frying pans stuck and needs replaced. All the furniture was dusty. None of the clocks worked. We are both in our elderly years and the three flights of stairs was too much. We should have been told we were on the top floor. Loved the location. We were pleased they gave us a small refund.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We were in Durango for a three day weekend and this place fit our needs perfectly. The stairs getting up to the condo were a little tricky for my young kids and could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. The place was clean and the location was close to everything we needed. We are grateful to the hosts for the experience.

Great condo, close to downtown Durango

My husband and i just returned from a visit to see my daughter in Durango. We usually stay in one of the local hotels, however this time we chose to rent a condo--and i'm so glad we did. We were close enough to town for quick trips to dinner and for groceries, but had the privacy and space to entertain our daughter after work. I will certainly book this place again!

Great Trip in Durango

First off, the property was exactly as advertised! We were curious if it would actually be “that close” to the pool and indeed it was! The condo was great and the window AC units functioned well to keep the heat away and the place comfortable. We basically went out for dinner most nights, but the kitchen was well stocked the night were cooked in. Overall, it was a great location for our family of four (kids 11 and 9).

Disappointed

We were excited to stay here, but the place left a lot to be desired. The communication was great, the location was great, however it was not the cleanest.The beds were not adequate. They were lumpy and the comforter could be updated. It seemed a bit on the used and dirty side. The “gift boxes” from VRC were used and had spills from some of the containers. The table was old and had dirty spots on it. This place really should be updated completely. The TV issue never did get resolved, in spite of Anna’s good attempts at helping us in the evening after we returned from our DSNGR trip and Andy’s telling us it would be fixed before we got back. Also, we were misled by the online description. It did not say that there would be three flights of stairs, and the condo looked to be way bigger than it was. The stairs were a real problem for four 80 old people who had to carry their luggage all the way up to the third floor, especially at that altitude. We were not aware that the upstairs bedroom was a loft and not an enclosed room. Also, we were surprised when we did not get a standard VRBO place, but something from VCR, a company which we were completely unaware of, or knew nothing about. We have had many good experiences with VRBO in the past and know of the good service they have offered.
