The Kingslodge Inn is in a great location, close to the train and bus station and the city center. With a full service restaurant and bar, and breakfast being included, it was great. The food was very good and the service all round was great! I would highly recommend staying here.

My two night stay gave me a very comfortable room, with a well equipped ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was self service, with hot food being ordered at the bar. Staff were very attentive during my stay and I would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed two nights at the King’s Lodge. Excellent staff and dining options. My bathroom was very clean, well appointed and it had great water pressure. 👍 It’s just a stone’s throw away from Durham High Street and some magnificent views. My biggest take on the Kings Lodge was how polite and friendly the staff were. Makes a good stay.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac a short walk to the city centre. Rooms were clean but the decoration was a bit dull and the bathroom was starting to look a little tired. One of the very few places that provide free parking. Breakfast was excellent and we would have no hesitation in staying again

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the housekeeper helped my mum upstairs with her bag. The rooms were extremely clean, so special mention to Fiona for this. The hotel is handily situated for the town centre and train station. We ate in the bar both nights and the food was good.

A single room does not need two bedside tables, and if one could be replaced by an easy chair for when reading or watching Television that would be great. Not a dog person so not particularly keen on dogs in the restaurant when having evening meal, but a minor thing they were well behaved. Overall very good and will come again
