"On the second night a thunderstorm brought part of the roof down. We had to move two of our beds into the kitchen and the falling in roof was covered outside by a plastic sheet. The dishwasher in the upper building did not work so we took the plates up and down to the dishwasher next to the pool. The property is lovely but could do with some renovations. "

So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!"

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."

"Zak was a brilliant host, friendly, attentive and ready to quick to any ofrequest. The chateau is fabulous, with loads of very big rooms to spread out in and all the facilities you coukd want. The plunge pool is a bonus on a hot day! "
