Good overall stay. Funky hotel. Good staff and within 20 mins walk to karlsrad which is super fun on a Saturday night. Used laundry facilities, dryer was incredibly slow. Otherwise every thing else was great.

Good hotel overall

Good location, fun hotel. Bit of a hiccup at check-in when we’re told we’d been upgraded to a ‘wow’ room. Turned out it was a very dark disabled room in the ground floor which had a bathroom complete with toilet grab rails. Asked to go back to our original booked room in the ‘cosy’ category and got a really nice room on the 6th floor with huge windows. The vibe of the hotel is good and we liked the little touches like popcorn and a free drink for skipping room cleaning. Sound proofing isn’t great though and we were woken up by music in the night which went on for several hours so sleep quality wasn’t great.

I was a bit put off by the room. It was very oddly shaped, like a wedge. It was very narrow and did not accommodate 2 large suitcases very well. It was very white and really, really bright with two walls of nothing but windows. The left side of the bed had to be accessed by climbing across the right side. Not very good for adults over 60 years old. Tip for other travelers: Ask to see the floor plan. This was room 514. It's the only oddly shaped room on the floor. I booked the room in December and it felt like we were given the "red headed stepchild" room.
