"The apartment is in a small gated complex with a total of 4 or 5 units, an outdoor grill area and seating areas. There are outside storage lockers for dive gear, surf boards, etc along with a rinse tank which is really great for not tracking loads of sand indoors. The location is absolutely perfect. Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our stay pleasant. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. However, a few female Hispanic staff members at the pool bar and the 24-hour bar area were a bit dismissive. The resort was clean, and breakfast and food were exceptional. They were available 24/7, and we enjoyed a variety of options. One thing I didn’t like was the first-come, first-served policy at the restaurant. I only managed to try the Steak restaurant, which was great. The Milano restaurant, which opens at 6:00 pm and closes at 9:00 pm, was booked at capacity when I arrived at 7:30 pm. Although the main buffet had some pasta, my daughter wanted chicken parmesan, so we left the resort and went to Gianna’s. Riu should consider improving the process to allow members to try their restaurants. Another issue was the unpleasant smell coming off the elevator near the outskirts of the main buffet. I’m not sure if there’s a hidden area for garbage or sewage, but the smell was not appealing. I’m sure Riu can address this issue. Aside from these minor concerns, Riu Place is a beautiful place, and my family and I will definitely be back."

"The property was beautiful and I loved the tropical oasis feel! We loved having the beach club access so close as well as a short drive to Willemstad. My only complaints were the air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the heat, and the bathroom drains smelled bad. These were both minor issues; I would definitely stay here again! The beach bag was such a nice touch! We stayed in the bungalows."

"I would highly recommend , they have a rental company located at the property which is super convenient, both restaurants had great food nd prices, The rooms were cleaned nd maintained throughout our stay ,everyone at the resort was very friendly and super knowledgeable on things to do and places to eat ,even after hours , everywhere was in the proximity of the resort nothing was over 20mins , I would highly recommend,"

"The resort was very clean and only a short drive into Willemstad. Both the pool and beach were lovely and we were able to snorkel off the beach and see some pretty fish. Overall the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was amazing but a little pricey."
