"If Harry Never Met Sally, was a beautiful place. It was well maintained, and very clean with exception of some dust on shelves and in some cabinets, other wise it was spotless. The check in process, was easy. The staff at Heritage Harbor reached out and sent emails with amenities available so we would be ready to go when we got there. Unfortunately we did not get to take part in all that Heritage Harbor has to offer, as it was March, the pools were closed and it was still cold outside. The few...

"This property has SO much potential! The area is gorgeous, pool wonderful (although cold bc not heated), vicinity of amenities is wonderful and Starved Rock State Park just 10 mi away is awesome... but the upkeep was awful. And, service at the Red Dog Restaurant on site was awful. Unfortunately, overgrown weeds, broken bedroom blinds, a dirty bathroom, and lack of amenities we actually used were not worth the price. We couldn't wait to get home. :("

"The view and deck overlooking the harbor were wonderful. Exactly what I was looking for!!Amenities were not up to par. WiFi didn’t work, which made televisions nonfunctional. Kitchen supplies were bare. Bedside tables and light fixtures were dusty.Maintenance issues were troubling. Back door did not lock. Toilet ran nonstop. To be fair, the man at the office did offer to send maintenance, but I felt these issues should have been dealt with BEFORE I arrived. At this price, standards...

"We loved being right on the water and watching the bardges go by. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and 1 of the TV's didn't work. But having a kitchenette meant we could make our breakfasts and snadwiches before going for hikes. We've already talked about staying again, but maybe a different cottage. "
