Its attractive location between the Baltic Sea in the north, the Wrzosowska Bay in the south and the Dziwna River, which connects the sea with the bay, creates great opportunities for sailors and water sports enthusiasts. On land, the municipality is surrounded by forests and to the west by the Wolin National Park, creating ideal conditions for all those who enjoy active recreation and healthy coastal walks. The municipality's area of over 3790 ha is inhabited by 4,000 people. The length of the coastline, which has a northern border with the mainland, is almost 18 kilometres. The municipality of Dziwnów consists of four towns: Dziwnów, Dziwnówek, Międzywodzie and Łukęcin. In 2006, the European Commission confirmed that the beaches of all villages in the municipality meet the highest sanitary standards. For several years, the beaches of Dziwnów have been awarded the Blue Flag certificate. In addition to their tourist qualities, the municipality's resorts also have advantages in terms of health care: thanks to the health resorts and the high iodine content in the air (even in comparison with other seaside resorts), a stay there can promote the treatment of respiratory and heart diseases. In addition to sunny beaches and the warm Baltic Sea, parks and forests, as well as numerous events with a variety of themes, await tourists and lovers of good entertainment. Particularly worth seeing is the Martwa Dziwna, the former estuary of the Dziwna River - a beautiful area with lots of greenery where, in addition to the lake, there are many legally protected species of flora and fauna. Particularly noteworthy among them is the sea thistle - a natural symbol of Dziwnow, which has found a permanent place in Dziwnow's coat of arms. The commune also has many other attractions, such as a drawbridge, one of the few in the whole of Europe, it is also worth going for a cruise on cruise ships built on the model of pirate ships, a modern sports and entertainment hall provides a solarium, sauna, gym and organises many sports and artistic events, and you can take a walk along the Avenue of Sports Stars, where there are replicas of medals of famous Polish sportsmen. On the other hand, a new walking promenade runs along the shore of the dune, starting directly at the height of our facility and leading up to the breakwater, with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea, equipped with benches and illuminated by lanterns in the evening. The promenade has an even and comfortable surface for prams and bicycles.Sports and recreational facilities of the OW Beach Club facility : canoe rental, bicycle rental, common room with billiards, table tennis, library, children's playroom with modern monkey grove, playground and outdoor fitness equipmentServices 1Other : Café and ice cream parlour open only in high season (late June - early September)Free internet zone in the office and reception building, also in the café in high season, no internet in the cottagesOther:Pets allowed at extra charge: max. 1;Parking fenced, unattended, extra charge, 1 parking space per cottage availableDistance (in a straight line, approx.)Direct access from the property to the beach.
