"A lovely property in a very quiet area right next to a lake. The staff where amazing, very kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet hotel in the Haliburton area. 5 star rating from me."

"The exterior of the building does not look like a hotel at all but we were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. The room was spacious, although the position of the second bed was awkward. It was clean and has everything we wanted. Because it was an old building, the room was not level as we could see the uneven gap between the bathroom door and the floor. The bathroom door could not close properly as a result. Bed was comfortable, fridge worked well. Bathroom was spacious. Keurig coffee machine. Microwave and fridge. "

"Great place to relax and rest. Plus they have a lot of water amenities. The boat bike was especially fun. "

"Well stocked and large kitchen, good common areas. Lots of indoor activities for inclement weather. There is a small beach about 15-20 mins walking from the cottage in the summer. We didn't get a chance to use the smoker but hot tub, sauna, and bbq all worked perfectly. Thanks Peter!"

"Nice, quiet resort. The waterspa was excellent, and there were so many things to do (pool table, shuffle board, ping pong, darts, etc). The food at the restaurant was a little expensive but the quality was amazing, and staff throughout our trip were very helpful."
