"This property was cleaned enough to stay but I they used some kind of cleaning solution that burns my nostrils I ended up having a headache. Scary looking guy greeted me and a piles of homeless person’s things scattered right beside my door. I didn’t feel safe and wanted to get out but I already paid and no where to go I was only in Kamloops for a medical appointment. Wifi is terrible, no cable tv, desk/ wired phone doesn’t work, no coffee or tea not even a kettle to heat water but there’s a microwave, no extra toilet paper and the one they left in my room was halfway used. Feeling safe is very important to me and I didn’t feel it on this property "

"The good: Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean. Bed was firm but comfortable. WiFi worked well. The bad: Air conditioner was very noisy. Also, the coffee machine was ridiculously loud. Floor sloped. We specifically asked for a ground floor room, which we were assured we had and the room they gave us was upstairs. The pillows were hard and lumpy."

"The staff at check in were incredibly rude and we had a flat tire the next morning. So upsetting"

"The room had been recently renovated which was really nice. We only spent one night but I can imagine the riverfront rooms with a view would be very nice. The breakfast was sufficient for a quick bite before we hit the road"

"Clean room. Helpful staff. Continental breakfast was ok after asking about items not stocked. They didn’t pay attention to being stocked and seemed irritated when asked, Parking was really tight. We had to ask people that were socializing to move so we could park. I believe people were living there (which is fine), but they did not keep their areas clean for overnight guests. We could hear them partying outside. There was a homeless person going through the trash looking for bottles and cans."

"Cute room, with nice patio. The staff is not the most professional. Beds are hard and squeaky. The hot tub was not working. Staff didn’t disclose this when I confirmed at check in so it was a surprise when we tried to use it. When asked when it would be fixed we were told they didn’t know, but none of the front desk staff seemed to care. One front desk person pointed at a person drinking a beer and said “that’s the maintenance worker”. The reason we chose to stay outside of town was for these amenities that we could not use at all during our stay. We asked for a partial refund due to this and the manager or owner came with a bottle of wine? I guess that is something."

"Exterior of the property is well maintained, very clean and fresh smelling when you walk in. The staff are very friendly both prior, during, and after booking. Room wasn’t super clean- there was a lot of hair in the bathroom, dust throughout, and overall needed a deep clean but when they came in the next day to freshen up my room they did a wonderful job cleaning so maybe there’s a difference in housekeepers or an off day, nonetheless I was a lot happier after they freshened it up. Rooms are basic, nothing fancy but get the job done. If I come back to Kamloops I would stay again "

"Don t stay on the City View side unless you are a heavy sleeper. The Hotel is right next to the train tracks and I heard every train that rolled thru last night. My room was great though, and bed was very comfortable."
