"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and would not have stayed one night if it wasn’t so late after a long days drive. We did not stay for the second paid night. We should have turned around when we could see the condition of the carpet walking up to the front door. At first we thought maybe they had a flood on the first floor but the hallway carpet thru out the building was blackened with dirt and the odor or urine. The room that was listed as non-smoking wreaked of cigarette smoke and the walls, doors and cabinets were damaged. Fortunately, we stripped the bed to check and the only positive we can give was “no bed bugs”. We are going to request a refund for night two we did not stay and checked out early. "

"This property is non smoking which we liked and everything was clean and well kept. Unfortunately, the Expedia phone app gave the appearance when I was checking how late we could check in that I hadn’t confirmed the reservation and we clicked confirmed. This resulted in a double booking for the room and the hotel advised we would have to resolve with Expedia. The hotel was a good value for the price and we will stay here again when visiting our daughter."

"The property seemed quiet and safe . The unit was a nice size and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes . The bedding and towels seemed clean . There was mold in our bathroom and the tile was really dirty. I walked around on the carpet with my white socks and they were pretty much black. The carpets really need to be cleaned. Lots of the vents were caked with dust. I saw a small roach in the kitchen sink area. All throughout the hallways it smelled like marijuana . I would not stay there again."

The owner was gracious and super easy to communicate with, answering all questions in a timely manner. The house was clean and the beds were cozy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others. "

"What a perfect spot for our larger family! Plenty of room for our three adult sons to stay for the Thanksgiving weekend. Beautifully updated,convenient and safe location in Hampton. Perfect space for our family during the holiday! "

"We were looking for a house large enough for 6 adults to spend Thanksgiving with our son who is stationed in Norfolk. The house was very easy to find. Check in instructions were very clear. There was plenty of space to spread out! Dining table was large and could also fit us easily. It was too cold to fully enjoy the backyard but it looked nice and we could see the horses on adjacent property across the river. Too cold to fish and salt water( we only had fresh water poles)Make sure to bring spices you need to cook with- We had to go to the store for things as small as salt and pepper as there was none. We did bring our own pots and pans as we were prepping Thanksgiving - but there are small pots and cooking sheets available. Plenty of plates and silverware which was great. We noticed when washing a few dishes the sink was fine, but as we were washing all the dishes by hand after Thanksgiving the sink would fill with water. When we tried to use garbage disposal thinking that would clear it it would not work at all. (We put food scraps in the garbage- not in disposal) I did make owner aware and he assured it all worked properly before we arrived. I wish we tried all of that upon arrival had we known. We were woken up by what sounded like a puppy or small dog in distress at the neighbors, but know they have a large dog in a cage in the backyard day and night that does bark as you come and go. Overall this property was great and very enjoyable by everyone in our group! "
