"Excellent hotel. I didn’t get to spend much time in it because my flight was late. Never had an issue in the past although the breakfast service could start earlier."

"Breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. It is particularly suited for someone travelling from Stansted especially if you have an early flight."

"Loved the hotel and convenience. Our room was on the top floor which we were grateful for, however unless the aircon was switched on the draft whistled through the door quite significantly and constantly!! Something to note if you have the same issue, just stick the aircon on and it stops! We were offered a takeaway breakfast as we were checking out before 4am. The bar and restaurant were good, just very very noisy. Overall a brilliant stay! Thank you!"

"Lovely pool jacuzzi area but let down by no external shower..people were going into pool jacuzzi straight from sauna/steam room...great steam room...hottest ive been in.Best dinner in restaurant ive had for a long while..v good chef..have the Lamb..its worth it."

"The venue was spacious and tidy, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. My first impressions were great and the room was faultless - big, comfy, great level of amenities. Pool was free to use as a overnight guest (family swim until 6pm). Good enough location with the nearest 2 towns about 18 minutes away (Braintree or Colchester). You have converted a repeat customer in me for sure"

"Nice location close to Colchester town centre along with a decent gym, swimming pool and sauna all inclusive along with free parking. However the cleanliness good be improved as we found hair on our duvet and the room looked like it needed hoovering."
