"Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help."

"This house is in a stunning location. On the edge of Grasmere with it's plentiful cafes and famous ginger shop! The garden is great, BBQ and firepit are provided and there's lots of seating etc... The house has plenty of space. Unfortunately, the upstairs leaves a lot to be desired! Lots of mold and cobwebs everywhere, we were really disappointed given the amount of money we had paid. The smaller room was by far the worst, tiles off in the shower, mold on the carpet (just really shabby) I would never have booked to stay here if I had known the state of it. It's a shame because it could be a stunning house. "
