"Beautiful property. Large clean room."

"We stayed at this same hotel a few days earlier before taking the ferry to Newfoundland. We chose to stay again on the return trip due to its' convenient location near the ferry terminal. "Be aware that check-In time is listed at 3 p.m. but rooms may not be ready until after 4 p.m. We arrived with a tight window to get ready for a wedding that began at 4:30 p.m., but we could not get into our room until 3:30 p.m. Staff stated that the rooms were all booked the night before and they would not have them ready until up to 4 p.m. Multiple people were waiting to check in at 3 p.m. but could not get into their rooms. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. Cheryl was a great host and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was great . Everything was fresh, with a real farm-to-table feel. We would definitely stay here again."

"The property is old and dated but the room was great! We had a very comfortable sleep for 2 nights in a king bed! The property is far from downtown so walking was not an option but for the price, it was worth it. It looks dodgy from the outside but the room was just what we needed. It’s not the ritz, but is great for the price point and a family on a budget trying to see this part of Nova Scotia."
