"Check in was very easy, I was given a code to a lockbox. I overpacked assuming it would be a little more rustic, turns out it has all the comfort and conveniences of home. Cottage, grounds, and hot tub were clean and inviting. We were there very early spring before the leaves grew on the trees and the view was incredible! There’s a nice hiking trail a mile down the road, and water access directly across the street. This place exceeded my expectations all around! Book it!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall at this vrbo! The location is excellent, it is a 5 min walk to the lake. The neoghborhhod was quiet and felt safe. It was nice to have our own parking spot on the property. The house is newly renovated, and had nice finished and a kitchen that had all the needed tools. There were a few tjings that could still be added as part of the renovation, but ill assume that is ongoing."

"Loved the house, feet from the water's edge, shallow at the edge of the lawn and wonderful view of the lake. Too soon in the season for docks to be in, it would have been nice to walk out over the water. Enjoyed watching the birds on the lake. Spacious deck, A great time skipping stones on the water. "We really enjoyed the cottage on the water at Lake Canandaigua. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the location of our home was great. We really liked the way the cottage was furnished with very comfortable chairs and beds and a very antique charming look. "This site was booked for viewing of the total solar eclipse. And while the weather did not cooperate, the site itself was perfect. The grounds were lovely and private, and the house was clean and comfortable. I think it would be even better if there was a television onsite, but overall it was a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful setting. "The area is scenic, just beautiful. Cottage is well maintained and pretty. Furniture is comfy, and little details are attended to. It's a busy area but the backyard is private. I've stayed in cottages where they didn't have salt and pepper, or any hand soap. This place had a selection of spices, soap in each bathroom, all the towels. Even some shampoo and conditioner! Rachael was easy to talk to and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend 😀"

"My family and I stayed in Honeoye for our daughter’s college graduation. We absolutely loved the house. Huge open floor plan in the kitchen/ living area. The owner has gone to great lengths to have pretty much everything needed to stay. Wegmans and Walmart are about 14 miles away from the home. There are places you can go out to eat or stay in and cook. We definitely recommend!"

"This place makes us feel cozy. However, the cleanliness is not up to par. There are lot of dead bugs in some corners of the room and around the windows. Also found some calcium around the kitchen faucet. Look like the cleaning service didn't do a good job. Why should I pay for cleaning service?"
