Duff Green Mansion

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Duff Green. The property is charming and evokes the atmosphere of the Old South through its period architecture, decor and surroundings. The entire staff was friendly and so eager to please. The onsite manager, led a wonderful tour, explaining the property’s history and allowing us to touch and feel the period furniture, clothing, etc., and the cooks and servers who provided a delicious breakfast were so kind and proficient. We even got to meet the owner, who delighted us with her history with this majestic home. In short, this was a marvelous stay."

"There was a change in my cabin due to a/c issues. The host was unable to call me so there was a delay in getting into my cabin. Thankfully they responded quickly and I was in the right cabin within 10 minutes. The cabin is exactly as described and was more than adequate for my needs. The freezer worked great but the fridge was barely cool. No other issues. The property is in a beautiful location and it was very peaceful for the most part. There was a decent thunderstorm with some heavy winds coming off the lake, but other than some windows rattling it was uneventful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very gracious hosts and the breakfast was wonderful. The conversation was even better. The room was lit or staying in a Mississippi history book. We loved it and had a great experience. We were in town for my family reunion and didn’t want to stay in the chain motel my family blocked off rooms at. I highly recommend it also because it close to all the best restaurants and venues."
