Lake House Wooded Vacation Retreat and Nature Escape

"We had the most wonderful and relaxing time at the lake house. We were able to have coffee and overlook the lake. My husband went out in the kayak three times and loved it. The weather was not good for swimming but the leaves were just starting to fall and everything was so beautiful. The days were mostly in the 60s and the nights were in the 40s mostly and we only had one day of rain. Thanks for having everything ready for us. We really needed to have a quiet, no stress, relaxing week and that is exactly what we had. It's great that you got Roku so we could get more channels on the TV. I hope you get a lot of rain from the Nor'easter because you sure do need it in your area. Thank you Victor."

"This is a lovely place that seems like new. The kitchen was very well stocked including lots of spices and coffee, etc. It wasn't warm enough for us to sit on the front porch, which we would have enjoyed. We loved having the hot tub. It's off the beaten path, and we were glad that we'd brought all the food we needed. The bed was comfortable. We recommend it as a nice getaway."

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were made very welcome. We even got a nice boat ride and little history lesson of the lake and surroundings during it. Everything was clean and in good order. We had privacy, but Kate and Peter made it clear they were right there should we need something. But they had everything so well in hand, we didn't need to contact them. The back porch is fantastic. The lake is wonderful. We plan on returning."

"A perfect rental for my visit to Rumford. I am originally from that area, so many friends and relatives to visit. The location is centrally located and has extra parking for visitors. The house had everything that I needed and more, towels, dishes, pots and pans, coffee makers and microwave and toaster oven. Washer and dryer was definitely a plus for my extended stay. The host was certainly very responsive to any questions I may have had. Pet friendly was a must and my cats loved having a second floor for them and myself to sleep. Nice neighborhood and quiet and close to the hospital. Highly recommend this property during any season you choose."
