"We came during seaweed season so it all washed ashore. It made the beach quite smelly. The bartenders and kitchen staff were great and quite friendly. Our time in May, made the on resort beach a little undesirable."

"The property was getting ready to close its doors on 5/26/2026 so the property was not very inviting. Some staff members were rude. Rooms had a moldy smell. Bar was closed. Grounds were not well kept. Restaurant was still open & the food was excellent. The views were spectacular. Nice resort in its prime but not now. Marriot sure dropped the ball at Carrambola.😩"

"Everything was excellent. Our room was oceanfront, on the corner, next to trees. I think if the door seal & cracks throughout the room were properly sealed. It would minimize the small pest (bugs, small centipedes, etc) from getting in. We laid towels in front both doors. Helped tremendously. We will definitely be returning."
