"This hotel was very pleasant my room was on the second floor with view of Barking Abbey Park and very quiet. The room was clean and comfortable and very clean. The shower was excellent with very refreshing water pressure . The staff were friendly and helpful. The location for eateries was excellent, a very nice restaurant attached, and the exit directly on the end of the shopping streets made fit easy to find many different cafes and restaurants, and very exception ice cream cafe. The Barking station is in easy walking distance, and I took the number 5 bus to Canning Town Station for a short walk to Excel Exhibition centre, approx 40 minutes in all. The Abbey was a surprise find and very peaceful. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and I will certainly use it again."
