"This was an excellent stay! It was a surprising little hideaway in what I consider to be a remote place. It’s not The Four Seasons, but it is clean, safe, quiet, offering all of the things that one needs for a comfortable stay. The only thing in the room that didn’t work was the actual phone, which, if you have a cell phone, is really not a deal at all. Pretty comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom, ample parking, and wonderful staff! Bob was so great and very helpful! And, I was so very happy that food delivery service services actively work in the area and Fred’s Inn is down the street from a pretty substantial shopping center. If you have to stay in Norwich New York, I do very much recommend Fred’s Inn."

"We loved this cozy place to stay. Matt and Eliza were genuinely friendly and attentive. The cottage is sweetly decorated and the small kitchen has everything you might need for an overnight. Really enjoyed the coffee in the morning. Bed very comfortable with extra blankets. The little fireplace in the sitting room put out a nice warmth for the cool Sept evening. The cottage is in a rural area, which means some winding around on country roads to get there, but well worth the extra effort. One note, the spiral staircase to the bed and bathroom in the loft might be a bit tricky for anyone with rusty joints 😬 but it’s oh so cozy once you’re up there."

"We spent a long weekend at this house while up visiting our son at Colgate. It was comfortable, clean and very well appointed. Located in a quiet and peaceful area directly across the road from a beautiful reservoir. We enjoyed kayaking, the hot tub and relaxing on the porch. It is a nicely maintained property about 4 miles from Hamilton and Colgate University. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Nolan & Cat were wonderful Hosts and messaged us to check in and make sure all was ok and that was so thoughtful. The home was so nice and clean and was a perfect place for our family to stay. Highly Recommended!!!"

"Worked out perfect, we would stay here again. The house was clean and well-supplied. Kitchen was stocked with coffee, cooking supplies, Bathroom had shampoo etc. Nearby farmstand has good donuts on Saturdays. Farmers market in Hamilton on Saturdays was also fun. Lake was great for swimming. Our dog loved it, very pet-friendly. The stairs to get to the water are steep - if you have a toddler or grandparent it may be a bit dicey for them. But once you're on the dock it is absolutely beautiful. We sat on the porch and drank our coffees in the morning and it was food for the soul. Our 8 yr old loved the hammock."
