"Room was clean and staff was very helpful. Parking was on-site and easy. My favorite thing was that the A/C unit would go down to 64 or less and believe me, you felt it instantly. I like it cold at night and most hotel thermostats won't let you do this. My only complaints were: 1. The A/C unit was pretty loud. 2. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. 3. The lighting is VERY dim in the room. There is one small recessed light that barely puts out any light (there are no lamps.) For us older folks, it makes it really hard to see at night. 4. The breakfast on the first day was sausage links, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The next day (Sunday) was just biscuits and gravy. I assumed it would be the same breakfast every day. Overall we were pleased and would stay here again."

"The location was great. Central to where I was traveling. The attached restaurants were also both exceptional. Good food with Happy Hour specials. Both had great staffs and the food was better than I expected actually. The room itself was comfortable. The bed had a great mattress, and the bathroom facilities were good as well. My only room complaint was that there was no chair, other than the desk chair to sit on. I had to use the bed to sit. Not sure if anything could be done as the room was small overall. I did request maid service twice with no response. The third time it was addressed. The front desk staff was super friendly and willing to chat and give you some good insight as to the property. The continental breakfast was average. Nothing special. It was not something that would cause me to stay there again, but it also does not make me want to go somewhere else next time I visit that area. If this was a number system of 1-10, I would give it a 8 / 7.5."

"We LOVED our weekend at John's cabin on Leesville Lake. The cabin is fantastic -- comfortable, loaded with amenities and decorated to the hilt with interesting stuff (you'll want to spend some time reading the hot water tank). The outdoor space really adds to the charm, and if rain is approaching, don't worry -- the screened porch means you can carry on your outside time uninterrupted. Having access to the community's beach was great -- everyone we encountered was super friendly -- and don't miss the chance to get out on the lake on John's kayaks. We ate in while we were there, but there are a ton of food options just a short drive away in Carrollton. And finally, John was super helpful, answering questions and offering advice whenever we needed help. We're already talking about coming back for a long weekend next summer -- that's how much we enjoyed John's cabin."

"Blast to the PAST! What a very cool and unique lodging experience. Every gaming system you could imagine is here going all the way back to the Atari and the original Nintendo. Watching my 2 boys "struggle" with the old tech was amusing but they had an absolute blast experiencing all the systems from the past decades and the different themed rooms. My youngest loved Duck Hunt and Space Invaders. The systems are all wonderfully preserved and the operation instructions to every system are very clear. Combined with a nearby Lake where they could fish and they were in heaven. A Queen Bed, Bunk Beds and a very cool Reclining couch are your sleep options. full Kitchen and 2 full Baths. the well water is its only mark against, its quite pungent if you aren't used to it. We had a wonderful stay and was the highlight of our trip to Canton. My boys can't wait to come back next year, Well done"

"This was the best cabin we have ever stayed in! It was incredibly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and the pool was perfect! All of the rustic and woodland touches all over the cabin really made it special. The beds and bedding were SO comfortable. The host was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!"
