"Property was easy to get to and there is lots of conveniences nearby. Overall it was very clean except the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, which wasn’t a huge deal. The only downfall was the amount of noise from upstairs. We could hear people yelling and each step sounded like elephants walking around."

"The worst place that I have ever booked. Nothing like the pictures. Not even complete space for 3 people to sleep and they are booking it for 4 people. Can't even stand straight in the building. No host and had to figure out most stuff on my own. Left the place immigrated and booked another location. The place even had weird smell to it."

"This adorable little flat is located on the Dartmouth waterfront just a short walk from the ferry to Halifax and the McDonald Bridge if you are looking for an adventure it is a pedestrian friendly bridge that spans 1 mile and is about 15 minutes to walk. From there you can take the short walk along Barrington to Halifax's downtown core and a quick ferry ride back to Alderney Landing and back to the flat. "We had a very enjoyable stay. The home is pretty, clean, and has everything needed to stay. The in house laundry was excellent to have. Saved much time trying to find a place to do it. Nancy was a great host. She was very attentive to our requests and answered our questions in a very timely fashion. Would stay her again."

"Met by the very attentive owner who is very polite. Answered texts very quickly, and checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if I needed anything. Place was clean, bed is very comfortable, and amenities are close by with a car. Easy access to major highway close by."

"House was great, lots of room for our whole family Could use more towels, but we made it work The electric kettle is leaking and the basement bathroom could use a garbage, could use updated furniture and the master bedroom needs the shower drain cleaned. Furniture on the deck would be nice as well. "We had 3 different families stay at this home with 0 issues. Check in was easy and Dan wrote back quickly with any questions we had! Highly recommend if your looking to be close to the city!"

"Didn't get entry instructions til just a few hours before arrival. Outdated cream and milk in frig. Not wiped clean. Floor has glue and stains. Looks dirty. Dust thick on top frig and wall shelves. Oven drawer not clean. Lightbulb burned out and fixture dirty. No replacement bulb No sheets pillows or blankets for extra beds. One is slippery futon. Other must be loveseat pullout. No topsheet for master so we had to go buy one for hot hubby Yard is gravel back yard so can't sit out and enjoy....

"We had a great at this VRBO! The location was wonderful, with it being a short drive into downtown Halifax and having the local market and the Birch and Anchor pub so nearby. The accommodation itself was very spacious, with large bedrooms and really great common area in the kitchen and living room, which was great for spending time with our group. Additionally, having the property/balcony overlook the harbour was quite nice, especially at sunset. No complaints at all, would happily come back."
