"The flat is cute and close to the mile It is up a steep alley way, so not good for people with mobility issues. We immediately realized the instructions to turn on the boiler and heater were incorrect; (after calling we found out the switch is on the kitchen counter and not the bedroom closet). There were a few local restaurants and bars hidden amongst the apartments, within walking distance of many main attractions, and easy to find. The only thing I’d tell Americans, it’s the 2nd floor apartment (which is 1st level in Europe)."

The apartment has everything you could need. It’s spacious, has beautiful decor and has everything you need to feel like you’re at home. "It was comfortable and well equipped. It was generally clean but not deep cleaned. Example: the shower drained slowly and the drain not cleaned properly; kitchen washing up brushes needed replacing; the outside of the windows were not clean. Location ideal for Holyrood park and the Royal mile. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering. Area was quiet and no noise from the apartment block which was a small block.
