"The property is located on the outskirts of Tannersville. The location is very close to hiking including the iconic Kaaterskill Falls. Unfortunately, the location is overshadowed by a very disappointing property. Its essentially run down motel in the back of a closed restaurant with a for sale sign out front. The building was not very clean and no staff were on site. The pictures are also a bit misleading as the restaurant is now closed and the grounds have deteriorated since the closure. The...

"Sure looked and sounded a lot better in the online description. The one good thing about my stay was the excellent communication with the host. The rest, well, I’ll try to stay polite and just list the facts. 1. There’s a huge For Sale sign out front and an abandoned restaurant next to the rooms. 2. Room needs updating badly.3. Windows don’t open or close. The hardware is either broken or frozen. 4. One window stays wide open, it has no screen so I had to jury rig a towel over the open window so...

"Last minute booking. Owner was wonderful. Cleaner, very nice. Clean and private location needed for family meeting. Not hard to get to. Relatives from out of the area, found it with ease. The area has very spotty internet connections. Once on cabin internet, it was just fine, in and outside of the cabin. Stove plate burners, propane grill, a good sized microwave and counter top convection oven."
