Great food and views from dining room Nice trails and numerous other activities make this a destination resort We planned to stay one night and decided to stay another night just enjoy the property. An unexpected bonus was the star gazing. Absolutely dark sky lit up with stars!"

"A luxury all- inclusive game lodge experience. The 8km drive from the main road is dirt and gravel so a little challenging for our tiny hire car. A warm welcome on arrival and our room was very spacious and comfortable ( the bed was quite hard but perhaps the mattress was new). An indoor and outdoor shower meant you could wash under the incredible stars in the night sky if so inclined. Lodge was comfortable and well decorated if slightly lacking in atmosphere. "What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. For anybody wanting a unique safari experience with game animals...

"Good cases taken directly to our lodge which we got to by golf cart. (This broke down the following day and replacements lights did not work so was given a torch!)(Really!) Barbeque one evening but difficult to actually see what I was eating as the light wasn't good. Face clothes disappeared, asked for 2 replacements, 1 given, likewise mini bar wasn't stocked properly. We were told that our group had to all do the same thing during the free time between drives, yet when we went to the beach, we...

"Oyster Bay Lodge was a great stop on our Garden Route adventure. The road going in from Port Elizabeth was a bit sketchy, but it added to the allure of the hidden gem of Oyster Bay. Wonderful food and dining atmosphere, great walks in the woods, and a private, beautiful white beach. Great pool also. Two nights was not enough!"
