The Revolution Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Helpful staff, clean and neat accommodations. I chose a room without an en-suite bathroom. I was skeptical at first, but for a weekend stay it worked, I would even go as far as to say that even a week would not be bad with a set up like this. Room is equipped with a nice large shower caddy with towels and slippers, soap and lotion. I didn't have a problem accessing the bathroom or shower the entire stay. The bathrooms were clean and there was staff nearby to clean up often if it was necessary. There were a water fountain and ice available on my floor which was great for filling my water bottle. Bed was very comfy and I slept well. The staff at check in/out were helpful and kind. I loved the small KoHl coffee shop in the lobby, barista was friendly and made delicious cappuccinos! Location was convenient and in the absolutely beautiful South End neighborhood of Boston. This made for some great evening walks. I would definitely stay at the Revolution again!"
Arcadian Hotel
8/10 Good
"Overall great stay for my family of 4. We stayed in a tower king suite and the room was clean and spacious. Hotel provided a pack and play and it fit well in the room without being in the way. Good location, close to parks, a great playground for kids and walking distance to cafes, restaurants and Fenway. Close to T station (green line stop - was unfortunately closed during our stay but obviously way out of hotels control). Breakfast was a very basic continental with minimal options, nothing hot and no protein options. Parking is convenient at a garage attached to facility but is very limited and on a busy weekend was filled up when we returned from a Red Sox game (seems like a common occurrence). Alternative parking was in a lot a 10 min walk away which is not ideal. Staff however was very kind and accommodating."
