"We could not wish for a better house for the weekend. The property was so impressive and very well equipped. It was spacious and so clean and little touches were amazing. The best part of the house was the outdoor space and the pool and hot tub which was heated and very clean. The hosts were amazing and really made the stay so special and were always on hand to answer any questions. I would definitely come back here as it’s perfect for any occasion."

"We enjoyed our stay here. Sean greeted us and helped us get settled in. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Just a few minutes stroll into the picturesque town of Painswick with it's typical Cotswolds buildings (don't miss visiting St. Mary's Church and its 99 yew trees!). The house is also a very easy drive to other sights in the area, including the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral and the Roman museum in Cirencester. "We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."
