"The Snug is in a good location to visit the Forest of Dean area and Wales. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and live on site. They have thoughtfully provided everything you need for a short break. It is well presented and although overlooking a main road is quiet and has parking at the rear. "

The host was very communicative and easy to reach, and she graciously offered us a late check-out after a miscommunication about the amenities. "We stayed for our wedding weekend, it was just what we wanted, although the weather wasn’t great for the weekend we still had a great time, watching the rain dance on the lake and nice chilled days in the swimming pool and spa. We have stayed in the Lower Mill Estate before so knew what to expect, and we always love it! "

"Excellent family house but the best thing is the view and the stillness that comes with it. It is well equipped, very comfortable and close to spa and swimming pool. Stairs not easy for those with mobility issues though."
