What a view! (and free snacks!!!)

The location and room were amazing! What a gem…..the only problem was…on the Johns Island side of the hallway (when you enter the hallway the rooms on the right) after a great day hiking and a lovely dinner we returned to our room, the weather was calm and warm. We opened the window in our room and settled in for the evening. Well, 10pm rolled around and the trailer and RV located at the property next door feet from The Village Inn started their generators and kept them running ALL NIGHT LONG! After a sleepless night they finally turned off at 6:30-ish in the am. My advice, try staying on the other side of the building. The side that faces the Outlook Inn. And NOT the side that faces the Orcas Arts building with the trailer park behind it.

Beautiful room

This was a fantastic place to stay. The room was beautiful and I loved sitting int he window seat and looking out at the water. There were also great snacks and amenities in the common room.
