"I come to the castle - completely empty no one to help check in - instructions is very unclear. The place is desserted and neglected. Walk into the room cobwebs everywhere as if no one has stayed there in weeks. The place smells like an old ghost town. No food in the hotel as well I couldn’t even stay the night. We checked out a half hour after we got there. I would stay away "

"A rather tired property but the room and bed were very clean. Decor and carpets are very tired but appear clean. Big surprises were no drink making facilities in the room, no cup in the bathroom, a hideous shower arrangement over a tiny bath where the shower screen opens inwards over the bath leaving about 6” of space to climb through before struggling to close the screen. If you’re more than a 34” waist, best not to risk it. There is an external fire escape from the 1st floor but the steps...

"Fine for a one-night stopover - a small room with a bed, a tiny bathroom, aircon, easy parking just outside and just minutes from the fast A road. Everything worked, we enjoyed a good dinner at the Campanile’s restaurant nearby. "

"A lovely town just a 15 minute walk down through the vine yards with plenty of places to eat. Rooms are small and hot on a summers night, no air con nor bar fridge. Both our rooms has an odd smell. Okay for a one night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. "
