Amazing experience

Had a wonderful experience staying at this property with my husband and 2 year old son. From the very beginning the host was very accommodating, communicative and friendly, she even had a box of toys for my little boy to play with. The property is extremely well taken care of and clean. The area was so quiet and the neighbors extremely friendly. The apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was a memorable experience for my family and I, coming from the US and staying in Germany for an extended time in such a nice town and apartment.

Ländliche Oase

Wunderbar! Ein sehr schöner Ort mit großen Räumen, einladenden Sitzplätzen draußen, schön gestaltet und sehr gut gepflegt. Sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Wir konnten sogar unsere Räder unterstellen. Das Kaminfeuer war für uns vorbereitet und wir haben die wohlige Wärme an dem kühleren Abend sehr genossen. Checkin und Checkout liefen sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Gern wieder!

Ruhig und voll ausgestattet

Sehr ruhig gelegen, mit Tieren direkt an der Haustür (für Kinder)! Freundliche Gastgeber, schöne Wohnung in einem renovierten Althaus. Hat alles was man braucht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein bisschen entfernt aber mit Fahrrad oder Auto schnell erreicht. Frische Eier gibt es umsonst! Marburg ist in 15min zu erreichen. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und würden wiederkommen.

Pure Land-Idylle mit bester Ausstattung

Meine Mutter und ich haben zwei wunderschöne Tage in dieser tollen Unterkunft verbracht. Es war sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet: mit Tee, Kaffee, Gewürzen etc. in der Küche sowie Gesellschaftsspielen, einem Schrank voller Bücher, Tipps für Erkundungen in der Umgebung und vielem mehr.Hier wurde sogar an die ganz kleinen Gäste gedacht, für die es ein Babybettchen, -Stühlchen und etwas Spielzeug gibt.Kleiner Tipp für Menschen mit empfindlichem Schlaf: am besten Oropax mitbringen, da der schöne Echtholz-Boden etwas knatscht.Der Kamin gehörte zu unseren persönlichen Highlights – neben den beiden Terrassen, die sogar jetzt im März schon frühlingshaft bepflanzt waren.Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einer tollen, ruhigen Umgebung

Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, und es wurde uns alles gut erklärt. Wir haben hier 2 wunderschöne Tage verlebt. Im Ort und in der Umgebung gibt es viel interessantes zu entdecken. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist sehr geräumig und mit einer modernen Einrichtung. Die Couch ist sehr bequem… Sehr schön war auch der Verkaufstag im Wohngut, wo man viele schöne Accessoires kaufen kann. Wir fanden es absolut super hier und kommen gerne wieder…

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Eine wunderschöne, großzügige Ferienwohnung, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Dazu einen sehr netten Kontakt zur lieben und freundliche Familie, die die Wohnung vermietet. Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Urlaub und würden jederzeit nochmal kommen.

Tolle, voll ausgestattete Wohnung in ruhiger Lage

Sehr ruhig zw. Giessen und Marburg gelegen (ca. 15 min entfernt) mit Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Voll ausgestattete Küche, wo man auch kein Spülmittel odfer Salz, etc. mitbringen muss. Liebevoll restauriertes altes Mühlengebäude - hier treffen sich Geschichte und Moderne. Sehr sauber. Wir waren vollauf zufieden und kommen gerne wieder. Danke an die freundlichen Gastgeber!

Wir hatten zahlreiche Ferienwohnungen anlässlich unserer Rundreise durch Deutschland. Manche waren enttäuschend, einige waren so gut, dass wir dachten dies sei der beste Standard. Die Sandmühle hat neue Standards gesetzt. Ein Hof im besten hessischen Fachwerkstil, eine Wohnung mit schweren Balken, die die Decke, leicht kurvig halten, moderne Doppelglasfenster im alten Stil, ein Mix aus modernster Küche mit buchstäblich ALLEM, gemischt mit einer Möbelausstattung aus zwei Jahrhunderten und den bequemsten Betten mit Tempurschaumliegefläche. Ein Bad mit grosszügiger Dusche PLUS Badewanne, eine separate Waschstube mit Waschmaschine und Trockner (kostenfreie Benutzung!), ein grosses Wohnzimmer mit geschmackvoller Mischung von alten Möbeln mit einem modernen Sofa. Knarzende Holzdielen mit perfekter Oberfläche, das Ganze luftig und hell. 2 Aussensitze für die, die entweder die Sonne oder den Schatten suchen. Blumen und Grünpflanzen rundum, Hofkatzen, die zu Besuch kommen, Eine natürliche Umgebung, die Frieden ausstrahlt. Ein Begrüssungstrunk hessischen Biers im Kühlschrank, eigene Hofeier und gute selbstgeschöpfte Butter zur Begrüssung. Die Familie Ochs hat hier ein Paradies geschaffen und es fällt schwer wieder abzufahren! Das einzige, was es aus unserer amerikanischen Sicht noch zu ergänzen gäbe, wäre der Komfort einer Klimaanlage. Aber das wäre auch ein wenig pervers - es sei denn sie wäre solar stromversorgt. Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung im Grünen
