"The property is really great, the photos don't do justice to the size and spaciousness. The beds are comfortable, the rooms cosy. The property has all the facilities you need if you want to cook yourself but it is within easy, driving, reach of places to eat if you don't. "Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

La vue sur les champs à l’arrière du bâtiment est superbe: couché de soleil sur un océan de verdure. Pour les visites il faut compter une demi-heure pour aller sur les plages du débarquement, 50 minutes pour Cherbourg et une heure et quart pour le Mont Saint Michel."
