"I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. "Lovely spot, only a minute walk from the station. Beatiful view of the snowy town, above a bakery and only 5mins from the shops. Room was lovely and roomey for two friends on a serendipitous 1 night adventure. Great heating and fancy tap which gives you hot water, mineral water, sparkling water and mild sparkling water! Also the check in was really cool and simple. Will definitely stay here again"

Die Gastgeber sind super!Die Lage ist toll und bietet nicht nur einen schönen Ausblick sondern auch die Möglichkeit von dort aus viele Ausflüge zu machen! Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen! Absolut empfehlenswert und es besteht großer Wiederholungsbedarf;)"

"Great breakfast buffet. Nice bar. Excellent spa facilities with indoor pool, 50°/70°/80°/90°C sauna, Serail room, and massage. No A/C can lead to very hot room temperatures on the top floor on a hot summer day. Insufficient parking when hotel is sold out. No obvious option for overflow parking."

"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
