"Smell of mold in the room. Hotel situated in the middle of a commercial centre, with ugly buildings and parking lots all around. Check street view to get a feeling... Only very few rooms with a view to the (distant) lake."

The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! "This historic hotel is beautiful and a fun place to stay just outside of Montreux. You can easily access the city center and Chillon Castle from one of the main bus lines just down the road. The included breakfast was delicious, and the small bar/lounge area was a great place to enjoy a drink after a day exploring. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to return next time we visit Montreux! "
