The garden is perfect for relaxing & games room brought the family together for valuable social time. It is beside a busy A road, so not exactly quiet. So not ideal for a light sleeper. The lakes were not accessible on foot so a drive into St Neots, to the park, river, pubs, shops & cafes was ideal."

We stayed for a week which allowed us to both visit my son’s family and go on trips to Ely and Cambridge - as well as exploring Saffron Walden itself, to which this property is very central. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew).
