"A gem of a guest house style hotel tucked away up an atmospheric mountain road at the foot of a number of trails, surrounded by forest and with a stream across the front of the property. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of delicious options including authentic curry options alongside the more traditional menu. We had a room for 4 which was large enough for two adults and two teenagers. No a/c but with the cooler mountain air the evenings were pleasant. A fan and open window would help keep it comfortable through the night. We had an immensely enjoyable first visit to Slovenia and our stay at Gosticse Draga was a big part of that. Thank you."

"Een heerlijk huis op een rustig gelegen plek. Alles wat je nodig hebt is voor handen. De eigenares is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zal er alles aan doen om een fijne tijd te hebben. Een prima uitvalsbasis voor dit deel van Slovenië. Wat ons betreft een aanrader!"

"This was a very nice holiday rental which has obviously been recently renovated. The kitchen is very well designed and laid out for family catering (although the only utensil it seems to lack is a grater which would be useful to add). The living areas are comfortable and spacious and the WiFi and large TV including access to streaming channels very useful to entrain the whole family. The small village of Vrba is well located but very rural so there is quite a ‘rural’ smell of cows (!) and often quite noisy in the village with wood cutting and other noises. "
