"It was perfect for what we needed. We wanted to visit both Chincoteague and Assateague and the location was great for going to both while also being off the beaten path. We enjoyed the Marina restaurant and it was nice to have a little view of the canal. The decorations were simple, beachy, and tasteful. "Had an Awsome 8 days , views were amazing from just about everywhere in the house. Fishing was good from dock, crabbing was slow, a little late in the season. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The restaurant just down the street had very good food, especially the fish tacos. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful club house, indoor pool and golf course."

"This is a charming place, full of really nice interior touches. The location gives you access to some great marshland so you are treated to a daily dose of great bird sightings, including ospreys, red-winged blackbirds, herons and others. The house has everything you need. The only advice I would give - to remind guests to clean off the grill when they are done using it. "The house was a great location right by the bay with kayaks and bicycles to use. Convenient to both Chincoteague, a half hour drive to the refuge and Assoteague within 45 minutes. Watched the Wallops rocket launch from the balcony. House was very clean and the renovation was well done down to the detail. The kitchen facilitated everything we needed for daily meals. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. A great experience for our whole family."

"Tropical Storm Ophelia decided to pay us a visit, but the design of the house & location made it easy to enjoy our stay. The screened in porch with the fire table was perfect for not so great weather. The super short walk to the Marina Restaurant for happy hour and a delicious dinner was a plus. Our last night there the clouds broke and winds calmed so we were able to see the real beauty & serenity of the area. Would definitely recommend to others."
