Quiet, cozy vacation apartment near the forest.

"Eine hervorragende, gepflegte und umfangreich ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine frühere Anreise war problemlos möglich und auch eine Anreisebeschreibung wurde im Vorfeld aufgrund eines Weinfestes kommuniziert.Ein Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist barrierefrei zu erreichen. Über den Hausflur liegt die Ferienwohnung gleich links. Ein kleiner Flurbereich, integriert in die Küche/Esszimmer, mit Garderobe ist vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet u.a. 2-Feld-Induktionsherd, Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster etc.. Von der Küche geht es direkt in das Schlafzimmer. Dort befindet sich auch ein TV-Gerät (Flachbildschirm mit Internetzugang). W-Lan ist vorhanden. Das Bett (Box-Springbett mit zusätzlichem Topper) war für uns zu weich - aber das ist Geschmackssache. Vom Schlafzimmer geht es in das ausreichend große (für Rollstuhlfahrer wahrscheinlich weniger geeignet) mit einer Dusche ausgestattete Bad. Wir waren mit Fahrrädern gekommen und bereits im Vorfeld wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass eine Abstellmöglichkeit incl. Lademöglichkeit in der Garage besteht.Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist ebenfalls gut. Wenige Meter vom Waldrand entfernt, besteht ein toller Einstieg in das Pfälzer Wanderwege-System. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der nahen Stadt Neustadt/Weinstraße (Mittelzentrum) umfänglich vorhanden. Gastronomie ist im Ort vorhanden. Kommen gerne wieder!"

"Sehr nette gepflegte Wohnung - sehr freundliche Vermieterin!Schade fanden wir persönlich, dass das TV- Gerät im Schlafzimmer stand. Bei uns leider ein „no-Go“, weil einer von uns immer früh zu Bett geht:)) Zudem total unbequeme Couch - wahrscheinlich als Zusatz-Schlafplatz gedacht, aber leider total schlecht zum Sitzen.Das Bad recht beengt, auf WC sitzend hat man die Tür direkt am Knie :)) Kaum richtiges Tageslicht und kein Fenster zum Öffnen.Es gab Glasbausteine, aber den Hinweis, nicht auf den WC-Deckel zu klettern, um einen Stein zu kippen… Lüftung im Bad ist aber durchaus erforderlich:))Das ist keine negative Kritik, sondern etwas was uns nicht so gefallen hat:))Ansonsten war alles vorhanden, was es braucht!Mit dem Parken kann es schon mal problematisch werden."

"This hotel was very pleasant but for the price I expected a bit more- tea and coffee in the room, a fridge and access to an iron and board would have been nice. It was nice to have a swimming pool. Our room in the guest house was very nice but my sons room was on the top floor and very hot. They didnt sleep well. Breakfast was nice but at 30E each I should hope so. "

"Das Achat-Hotel liegt zentral am Bahnhof, ist aber trotzdem recht ruhig. Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen, die Tiefgarage ist zu eng für grosse Fahrzeuge, aber es gibt hinter dem Hotel einen günstigen Parkplatz. Angenehm fanden wir die Möglichkeit, Wasser in Glasflaschen abzufüllen und aufs Zimmer zu nehmen. Der Wochenendpreis war sehr günstig."

"The property and area are as described in listing. If you have any mobility issues note that the stairs leading into unit are steep and the stair case to the loft area is pretty treacherous (although kids would love that space and probably be fine with the stairs). Otherwise the property was perfect for us. We took a bike ride, used the pool, very relaxing.We did have a problem with GoogleMaps taking us to the same address in a different town; the host tried to assist us over the phone but the language barrier was an issue. Not the host fault but just beware of Google Maps. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in this historical, beautifully appointed schoolhouse. There was such a thoughtful attention to detail every step of the way. We were greeted with fresh flower, fresh fruit and a welcome glass of local wine. Karl our host was kind, friendly and very informative. He gave us wonderful recommendations for dining and wine bar options in the area. Everything is within walking distance, and the vacation apartment is perfectly situated in a very tranquil part of the village, with views of the vineyards and the breathtaking castle."
