Beautiful Cairns Farmhouse, Kirknewton, just outside Edinburgh. Escape to the countryside but only

  • The 19th-century Stone-built Cairns House is the largest property on the farm, a completely private retreat by the tranquil Harperrig Reservoir, 5 bedrooms with extra comfy beds. Immerse yourself in a contemporary country house experience with a drawing room offering a log burning stove, stunning water views and plush sofas. The house is a fully self-catered facility with a large kitchen/dining space complete with a cosy AGA. Also to enjoy is large private garden complete with a fire pit/BBQ.
    Experience quality and comfort with high-end amenities, including quality bathroom toiletries.
    Embrace life on the farm. Take the time to breathe in the lovely fresh air, go for a walk (or a hike!), or try a wild swim or paddleboard in our own reservoir, say hello to our alpacas, take in the sounds of the birds and sheep, so much to do!
