Located on the ground floor (but with steps), the Restalrig Apartment, with free Wifi and free on-street parking, welcomes two guests maximum.

The one-bedroom apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with a two-seater breakfast table, while a dining table and chairs can be found in the living room.

The apartment is located in a residential building, so late check-ins are not possible - 2200hrs being the latest.

This is not a party flat. CCTV protected (cameras located externally obviously!).

Very nice contact, flat is very well equipped. The bathroom is freshly and modern renovated, the kitchen holds everything you might need and more. The flat is in a quiet neighborhood, You can easily reach a lot of different bus services. Highly recommended, if we come back to Edinburgh we will happily book again.

Edinburgh weekend

This home was exactly what we needed for our three day visit to Edinburgh. All communication was accurate and easy. The home was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. It was very well stocked and we wanted for nothing. Good bed and lovely shower. Access to the city was easy with the bus stop right outside. Coffee shop and small supermarket across the road and a “chippy” around the corner. Lucky to have found it and would highly recommend it!

Lovely place, great location

Lovely flat hosted by a very nice lady who kept us well informed. Nice and clean with plenty of space for the two of us. Situated a quick 10 minute bus journey into the centre of Edinburgh and opposite a well stocked Co-op.

Comfortable, well furnished apartment

We much enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The living room and bedroom were well furnished, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was clean and fully functional. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of the downtown and Leith. We would definitely stay again.

Welcoming and charming, and well-equipped, we had everything we needed. Even charging adapters (we had left behind.) Great clear communication! We enjoyed our walk to the Royal Mile … taking in the history and culture along the way. Delightful!

Excellent place away from the business of the tourist district

Susan is an amazing host. The property is exactly as listed. She had very helpful things which we ended up needing such as plasters (band- aids), scissors, plug converters for the appliances such as my curling iron, and so forth. I would absolutely recommend this place and I would stay again. Thank you, Susan for a great introduction to Scotland.

Great little spot

Apartment was exactly as advertised - clean, well appointed, all facilities and amenities available. A really excellent apartment, close to shop(s) and easily accessible from city centre on regular bus routes. Walking distance to Portobello Beach and other attractions. Lots of useful and timely information from host. Edinburgh is an expensive place to stay, but for anyone on a more limited budget this is a great option. No hesitation in recommending - would use again if visiting city.

Home away from home

We had a lovely time in Susan's appartment. She sent us elaborate check in information. So it was easy for us to enter the appartment. The location is a 35 min walk out of the city centre (which was no problem for us since we love walking) but there is a busstop right in front of the appartment as well for those who cannot or do not want to walk into town. The kitchen is fully equiped and the cupboards were stocked and we could use that. The only comment we have, is that the upstairs neighbours were a bit loud and noisy late in the evening and during the night. All in all we loved staying in the appartment and felt really at home.

Walkable to city center and Holyrood Palace/Arthur's Seat, on bus line, groceries and bakery across the street, comfortable bed (but sleeper sofa very uncomfortable!), washer ( no dryer, but one at nearby gas station), nice new bathroom, interesting eclectic decor, outside area could use some attention. Great communication with host.

Whimsical Retreat

This was my first stop on my journey, and due to the excellent directions I was able to quickly orient myself to the city. I purposefully wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. From the welcoming red front door, cozy amenities, and little touches of welcome, I absolutely loved this whimsical sweet apartment. The owner was very prompt at answering my questions, provided excellent instructions, and went above and beyond helping me find a special personal souvenir.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Susan. L’appartement était très propre, conforme aux photos de l'annonce. La procédure d'arrivée était bien décrite. Un guide très détaillé était disponible sur place et a répondu à nos questions. Il y a tout le nécessaire disponible sur place (pour la cuisine, lessive, salle de bains etc). Susan est une hôte attentionnée et réactive par message. L'arrêt de bus juste devant le logement nous a permis de nous rendre facilement en ville pour visiter.Nous recommandons à 100% ce logement !

All the comforts of home

Susan has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable from the comfy bed to the cozy towels and welcome shortbread, you won’t miss home. This flat has easy access to the city centre with bus access steps from your secure entry way and free on street parking at your door. It was everything we needed during our stay in Edinburgh.
