Warm and inviting, this duplex has been called a home away from home for many loyal guests for years. Both of the upstairs bedrooms reward you with amazing scenes of birds and the beach. There are two sofa beds downstairs to maximize space for your group. The privacy of Edisto Beach is unparalleled. A stroll up and down the coast will present you with views of wildlife, shells, and peace and quiet. Take pleasure in all the area has to offer from your doorstep.

THINGS TO KNOW

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

  • A very early morning outing at Botany Bay on Edisto Island. I had to start from my hotel at 3 AM to make it to this location before dawn. Botany Bay Plantation is a nature preserve and has regulated visitor hours. Gates open 30 minutes before sunrise - I wish they'd open a little sooner as the golden hour is pretty much more than half way done by the time one can make it to the beach. Nevertheless, it's a great location to visit at sunrise, especially if there are high clouds to add drama. Recommended to visit when the tide is ebbing as you then get the shadows of the trees, which to my eyes add more depth to the image. On this day, there was a bank of low clouds that prevented too much color but it was a great sunrise to witness nonetheless. The trees have so much character and add so much to the image. It's hard to look at the remnants of these trees and not imagine the onslaught they've withstood at the hands of mother nature. #WeekendGetAwayForTheFamily #colorful #USA #weekend #treetrove #blue

We were surprised to find out it was a duplex and not an entire house. There were also a few broken things throughout the house (the toilet handle in the downstairs bathroom, the microwave handle in the kitchen). But the view was indeed stunning and the beach was very nice and quiet!

Good location, not good house

First of all the house seriously needs updated. The carpet and furniture were so worn they were gross. Everything in there was so overused and worn out. Next we didn’t have supplies. Zero kitchen towels, no broom and sweeper DidNOT work well which is awful for a beach house, we couldn’t even sweep up the sand and crumbs from kids snacking, we had 12 people on our reservation yet only 6 sets of towels, had to call and have more brought, 3 showers only one bath mat, the oven didn’t work well, etc.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the layout of the house and it was so nice to stay to right on the beach. Perfect location on Edisto Island! We would definitely come visit again.

Comfortably Vintage

Everything was clean and working. House was well equipped. Outside areas were very nice. One of the most peaceful areas on the island. Our time there was SO relaxing.

Amazing location, needs updating

We’ve been coming to Edisto for years and always stay on the sound, so we knew we were getting a great location. You can’t beat the sunsets from the screened porch. House could use some updating though. Furnishings, decor, etc are pretty old. Kitchen is not well stocked, so if you’re cooking for a big family, bring what you need from home. Could be an amazing property with some TLC.

Good potential

Booking was very easy, and property group was quick to respond with booking questions. House was okay. Location was amazing! Beds were comfortable. Comforters looked a little less than clean. A shower door had been broken and there was glass in the shower, outside of the shower and on the baseboards. The carpets had large stains. Coffee pot was broken. All of the closet doors popped out, which wasn't a big deal. There was a bag of marshmallows under the bed. Legos in the floors...to randomly be stepped on. The screen door on the upper deck was broken. I called the non-emergency number just to let someone know about the shower door, but the mailbox was full. I emailed to let someone know the issues. Someone responded only about the glass shower door saying the owner was aware. They did not seem concerned about the glass everywhere. The most annoying part about the reservation was the pet fee. We were not going to bring out dog, but the dog sitter wasn't able to keep him. I emailed to get a price to bring him. I was quoted $20 per day. That would have been $60.00 for our trip. A few hours before check-in, while we were already driving, they called back and said it would be $150 now. They didn't know why it changed and said they had never seen anything like that before. Overall, the house was okay. The property management group was not very good. The cleaning company was terrible.

3522 -B Palmetto, Edisto Beach. We had a lovely time, but are upset about not locating the necklaces

I called Vacasa at the Attwood office this afternoon. My 12 year old granddaughter left several necklaces hanging on the outside of her closet door. These necklaces were gifts from her friends over the summer. Some friends made them for her. Please ask your cleaning crew if they found the necklaces . The inspector did not find the necklaces, but I thought perhaps the cleaning crew had removed them while cleaning for the next group of people.

The sunsets from the screened porch and upper deck were beautiful. The location right on the sound was ideal. And a pair of painted buntings spotted on the boardwalk to the beach was an added bonus!

Clean house with a great view

It was a very clean place with gorgeous views of the sound side of Edisto. The only complaint we had, and it is a small one, was that the path to the beach from the house was pretty narrow and full of sand spurs. They were constantly getting stuck in our feet, shoes, and our dog’s paws. Otherwise, great place to stay! We would stay again and recommend it to anyone!

Sunset on the Sound

We were very happy with this beachfront home. Second time we've stayed here and the space was perfect for us. An improvement (and maybe asking way too much) would be to add a recliner for us old folks! Thank you so much for a great week at Edisto!

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this property. A great property for families with pets. Could not have asked for a better location and it was extremely easy to check in and check out. We will definitely look forward to renting here again.
