The room is clean, bright and comfy. The toilet is modern. The lift is not working and if you carry a big luggage you need to consider this point. The booking comes with a 2-day free city pass that’s very helpful. "

"What a pleasant surprise. The location of the property is perfect to catch a Tram to anywhere in Basel and right across from the train station to travel to other cities in Switzerland. The breakfast is delightful in a beautiful traditional Bavarian style room. We would stay here again if we returned to Basel."
