"Our hosts were amazing and the hotel was convenient to lots of wonderful restaurants and tons of shopping. If you are renting a car, it’s not very convenient to drive around the town or park. If you have a difficult time walking around or using stairs, you should know, the hotel has some pretty challenging stairs. It’s also not at all close to the beach which we would have loved to have known ahead of time. If you want to be close to town, this is definitely the hotel for you. We chose a regular room without a sea view and we had no view at all, only a wall. We were able to go upstairs and use the patio during the day, which we did a couple times, that had a beautiful view of the ocean. They offered us breakfast for 25 euros pp a day and we happily accepted that so we didn’t have to leave the hotel. The breakfast was worth it. They offered fresh bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee etc. We also took them up on the laundry service for 45 euro since we had been traveling for over a week. It came back next day, clean and folded. They offered to bring our bags to the ferry by motorcycle! I wouldn’t have believed it, had I not seen it myself. It’s a bit of a hike so make sure you have your walking shoes on if you take the ferry from Sardinia. It’s more of a B&B than a hotel. The location is key. I’d recommend a sea view if you want any kind of view at all. The town is lovely and the food is amazing. "

"Annex was absolutely amazing"

"We stayed here on our honeymoon for 3 nights - it was the highlight of our whole trip! Checking in - Isabelle met us and talked us through everything the apartment had to offer, including some recommendations of things to do. She was responsive to messages and works nearby if anything is needed.The apartment - perfect size for the 2 of us; had everything we needed, including a beach bag with snorkel gear and towels that Isabelle has left there, and a washing machine. The location is amazing, right in the middle of everything, very walkable, and there’s also a small grocery shop right next to the apartment.The view - our favorite part! From the main windows, there’s a nice view of the street and a small part of the water; there’s a restaurant below that plays live music which is nice to hear during the day, and the windows muffle it enough at night that it’s not too loud and they don’t play too late. The best view - there’s also a storage closet outside of the apartment that has the most amazing view of the Grain de Sable!Tips:For parking, buy the vacationers pass for 60. It allows you to park in 3 lots for a week. I had read from Reddit that you could pay cheaper if you parked outside of town, but it would have been horrible walking into town with bags; it’s VERY steep and longer than you think.Restaurants - Catina Doria (amazing lamb shank), La Caravelle (no words for how delicious), and a focaccia pizza/sandwich place.Activities - rent jet skis, catamaran tours!"
