"A Wonderful Four-Night Stay at the KING’s FIRST Hotel I recently enjoyed a four-night stay at the KING’s FIRST Hotel and was very pleased with the overall experience. Location: The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of both Munich Central Station and Marienplatz, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Hotel & Staff: The hotel itself is modern with a traditional twist, offering a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The foyer was clean and well presented, and all the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional throughout my stay. A particularly welcome bonus was the facility to store luggage before check-in at no additional charge, which made arriving and exploring the city so much easier. The Room: My room was ideal for my stay, with comfortable beds and thoughtful complimentary amenities, including water, coffee and other essentials. The bathroom had a powerful shower, although the shower cubicle was on the smaller side, particularly for anyone requiring a little more space. There were sufficient towels provided, and additional towels were readily available if needed. As the hotel is situated on a main city road, some external noise from the trams and surrounding activity is to be expected. Personally, I came prepared with earplugs, which helped minimise the noise and ensured a comfortable night's sleep. Another lovely touch was the option to decline room servicing in exchange for a drinks voucher to redeem that evening. It was"

"Fine, standard, no frills hotel. Pricey because of Oktoberfest, but walkable to old town, fest, and the train station. Very helpful staff. Not many amenities (in the name of environmental concerns), but a nice bar and nearby shops and restaurants. Comfortable beds and windows that open to allow air flow - thank you. AC as well."

"Nice little hotel which is just around the corner from the main train station and walkable into town. We paid for the basic room which was small but functional and most importantly clean. Staff were really helpful and although no tea and coffee in the rooms, you could get this at reception. Definitely had more character than the usual chain hotels and would stay again."

"The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area; however, the lack of parking—or rather, the distance of the parking from the hotel—is an issue. We stayed on the top floor, which featured a terrace and offered beautiful views. The breakfast area is problematic; we had to wait quite a while for a table to become available, and in the end, three of us ended up sitting at a small table meant for two."

"Overall I would recommend this hotel. We had an accessible room and it was lovely. The bed was soft which to me is comfortable but my husband prefers a firm mattress. The pillows were not comfortable for me, I found them too flimsy. The amenities in the room are very good and personally I found the housekeeping instructions very easy to follow and our room was cleaned whenever we requested it. The breakfast is delicious! Definitely worth the money however the seating space is small, meaning it’s very busy and sometimes you have to wait for a table to become free, not great when there’s a finite window for breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay."

"Easy check in, staff very friendly, the room was clean, nice seating area and the kitchenette was clean and we had everything we needed to cook a meal. On the last day they keep our luggage free of charge so we could make some last minute shopping. If back in Munich I'll be staying here again."
